BCAN Recognized as 4-Star Charity for Fifth Consecutive Year

Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest and most-used evaluator of organizations that make up the nonprofit sector, has again awarded BCAN with their coveted 4-star rating for “demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency.”

In their award letter to BCAN, Charity Navigator stated: “We are proud to announce the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network has earned our fifth consecutive 4-star rating. This is our highest possible rating, and indicates that (BCAN) adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way.  Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that BCAN exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your work. Only 10% of the charities we evaluate have received at least five consecutive 4-star ratings indicating BCAN outperforms most charities in America. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets BCAN apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”
