BCAN Grassroots Patient Advocacy Day

As the leading voice for bladder cancer, BCAN is advocating on Capitol Hill to give bladder cancer the respect and attention it deserves. We have invited a small group of dedicated volunteers to Washington, DC, where they will spend the morning in advocacy training and then will visit their Congressional offices.  This initial advocacy effort is to raise awareness about bladder cancer and its impact on the tens of thousands of people who are diagnosed each year.  Most specifically, we will be asking for support for a Senate resolution declaring May “Bladder Cancer Awareness Month.”
