Thank You to Everyone who Contributed to
BCAN’s Bladder Cancer Patient Toolkit!

The Survivorship Working Group from BCAN’s Bladder Cancer Think Tank is working to create materials to help bladder cancer survivors throughout treatment and recovery.  One project is to create a “Patient Toolkit” that will include tips from bladder cancer survivors like you. Surveys were open from March 15 to April 1st to collect your patient tips.

The goal is to put together lists of tips for different procedures and treatments.  These tips will talk about what a patient should know before starting a procedure, how a patient can cope after a procedure, and questions a patient might want to ask the doctor.  Thank you to everyone who gave us your tips for the procedures and treatments that you experienced.

We are now in the process of compiling all of the responses, and using them to create short “Patient Tips” pages.  The pages will be reviewed and added to our website as part of the Patient Toolkit.
