BCAN’s Bladder Cancer Cure Teams

Community Cure Teams have raised over $34,000!

On Sunday, September 4, David Rogers ran 16 miles to raise money for BCAN.  He raised over $2,400, and documented his race in this YouTube video.

Jamie and Andrea Gillespie organized a fundraiser surrounding their local Capital Crescent 5K run.   A hundred of their friends and family participated in the race, and they raised over $11,000.

Over $21,000 was raised for BCAN by Bladder Cancer Cure Team members from Endo Pharmaceuticals who participated in the 2010 Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon (PHLYTRI)’s Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, June 26. Endo Pharmaceuticals matched dollar-for-dollar each donation Endo employees and contractors raised. Thanks to Endo, the six individual participants, the six relay participants, and all of their friends and family who supported BCAN’s programs to advance research, raise awareness, and provide information and support to the bladder cancer community. Huge thanks to Philly Tri participants Simon Lemmy, Suzy Fleming, Amy Richards, Tom Wojciechowski, Mike Rogers, Tim Byrne, Amber Dukes, Todd Hudson,  Don Minors, Michael McCrea, Alicia Logan, and Jeanette Straus. Thanks also to fundraisers Doug Azzalina and Jaime Wullenwaber.
