BCAN has proudly offered semi-annual patient forums at various sites across the country.  These forums have brought together medical professionals, researchers, bladder cancer patients, caregivers, and loved ones.

DC Area – April 28, 2012

This forum featured presentations by bladder cancer specialists from the NCI, Georgetown, GW, EVMS, Walter Reed and Hopkins.  Slides and video from the presentations are now posted.

Houston – December 10, 2011

BCAN’s Winter 2011 patient forum was held in Houston, Texas on Saturday, December 10.  Slides and video from the presentations are now posted.

Rocky Mountains – September 24, 2011

BCAN’s Fall 2011 patient forum was held in Aurora, Colorado on Saturday, September 24.  Slides and video from the presentations have been posted on the patient forum page!

Los Angeles – March 12, 2011

New York City – October 23, 2010

BCAN’s Fall 2010 patient forum was held in New York City on Saturday, October 23rd.  Slides from the presentations are now available!

North Carolina – May 15, 2010

On Saturday, May 15, 2010, BCAN hosted more than 135 people for an educational forum in Chapel Hill, NC called “Understanding Bladder Cancer.”   The forum featured presentations given by medical experts from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Duke University, and Wake Forest, and concluded with an interactive discussion with a panel of survivors.

San Francisco – November 7, 2009

November 7, 2009, BCAN held a very successful Educational Forum in San Francisco, CA: “Understanding Bladder Cancer.”  More than 150 people attended presentations given by medical experts and interactive discussions with a panel of survivors.  View webcasts of expert presentations on topics including bladder cancer basics, various treatments and therapies, and new research.
