Christine Scott, Director of Outreach and Operations

Christine joined BCAN in May 2007, bringing with her a wide range of nonprofit experience in community outreach, special events and volunteer management, and fund development. Her work in the nonprofit world includes serving as the executive director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tennessee Valley, an associate director of annual giving at Northwestern University and many years as a nonprofit consultant working with a variety of community organizations. Just prior to joining BCAN, Christine served as director of corporate relations for the American Heart Association in Arlington, VA.

Christine and her husband, JohnR Llewellyn, have one son, Andrew, a junior at George Washington University. Having recently relocated from Tennessee to the Washington, D.C. area, they are enjoying exploring their new hometown and learning their way around traffic!
