Larry Rzepka has more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit administration, focusing on management, resource development and strategic partnerships. Most recently, Larry served as Director, Development and Strategic Partnerships for Military Families United/ Families United in Washington, DC. Prior to that position, Larry was Assistant Executive Director, Development/Corporate Relations for the National Science Teachers Association, where he was responsible for creating and managing a multi-year campaign to raise $23 million to build the John Glenn Center for Science Education. Larry’s family has been impacted by bladder cancer and as a result, Larry personally appreciates the important role BCAN plays in increasing public awareness, promoting research and providing needed support services to the bladder cancer community.
Janet McIver, Director of Constituent Relations Before joining BCAN, Janet was with The Cancer Support Community and previously worked on social and economic issues in the UK including developing services for people with special needs.
Grace Schroer, Director of Research and Education A graduate of Harvard College, Grace’s primary interests are in improving access to health care information and treatment across communities. Before coming to BCAN, Grace worked at the Harvard School of Public Health, where she identified key areas for improvement in health care stakeholder relationships and brought project management skill-sets to hospital environments.
Laura Prigoff, Program Associate Laura is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, a certified HIV/AIDS Prevention Counselor, and an Americorps graduate who spent the past year working for a rebuilding organization in New Orleans. She is passionate about access to health care and early disease detection and is thrilled to be a part of the BCAN staff. |
