John P. Stein, is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern California, Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.  He is the co-leader of the GU program at the Cancer center.  He has published over 106 manuscript and 40 chapters and is on the editorial committee/board of various urologic journals including Urology, Urologic Oncology, American Journal of Urology Review, British Journal of Urology International, and Reviews in Urology. He is a member of the American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons as well as the Society of Pelvic Surgeons. In addition, he is an active member of the Society of Urologic Oncologists and was awarded the prestigious “2003 Young Investigators Award” by the Society of Urologic Oncology. His interests are in the surgical treatment of bladder cancer and lower urinary tract reconstruction as well as clinical trials for the disease.
