Gary D. Steinberg, MD, is the Bruce and Beth White Family Professor of Urologic Oncology, and Vice Chairman and Director of Urologic Oncology in the Section of Urology at the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Chicago Medical Center, in Chicago, Illinois. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, he completed his internship and junior residency in, as well as a residency in urology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. While at Johns Hopkins, he was an American Cancer Society clinical fellow in urologic oncology. Dr. Steinberg’s professional interests include and translational clinical research, which he has lectured on around the world.
