Great Step Forward: Hopkins Greenberg Bladder Cancer Institute

The bladder cancer community took a great leap forward last week with the official launch of the Johns Hopkins Greenberg Bladder Cancer Institute. The mission of the Institute—the first of its kind in the world—is to develop new clinical strategies for combating bladder cancer through intensive, collaborative, and innovative research.

DFW Chapter Hosts Bladder Cancer Education Event

The BCAN-DFW hosted a “Bladder Cancer Overview with Survivors Panel Q&A Session” on September 18 at the Cancer Support Community of North Texas (CSCNT) Clubhouse. After a brief welcome by Phyllis Yount, Director of the CSCNT, the event commenced with a presentation from its featured speaker, Dr. Ganesh V. Raj.
