Meet Vanessa: BCAN’s Program Coordinator of Research & Education

Vanessa Hoffman is a graduate of Cornell University and has a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she conducted research on community health and nutrition. She spent the past year as a health policy fellow with the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress. She is also a registered dietitian and has worked with patients in a clinical setting. Vanessa’s family has been affected by bladder cancer and as BCAN has served as a vital resource for her family in accessing relevant information, she is excited to work on promoting research and helping BCAN do the same for others.
